Ellen Woods is a ceramics artist based in Banbridge, County Down. Ellen developed a passion for clay and ceramics from a very young age, when she was allowed into her father’s workshop Mount Ida Pottery where she “loved playing with clay”. Her education included completion of B.A in Ceramics at Plymouth College of Art. Brought up in rural County Down, Ellen finds her inspiration from the surrounding rural landscape of Northern Ireland.
