Gabrielle’s current work is inspired by photographic images she has taken of different old metals, metals like old decaying gates or electrical boxes which have a history, a history shown by way of markings made by humans or ageing by climate. Working on these photographs with post photographic processes, Gabrielle creates original, abstract, colourful images. These images are quite diverse as their inspiration is diverse. Some images offer up their potential early, others are more secretive and need to be teased out.
Gebrielle’s work is printed on archival Hahnemuhle fine art based lustre paper and framed with archival materials positioned with in a frame according to accepted archival methods.
