Kasper Zier is a self-taught Danish water-colourist living and working in Dublin. Although he has worked professionally as a graphic designer, he has throughout the years produced various paintings and has held exhibitions in Denmark and Ireland.

Kasper enjoys painting a varied amount of subjects such as street scenes, landscape and also interior motives such as cafes and old workshops. He uses elements of impressionism to focus on the lights effect on the environment. Rather than painting every detail he looks out for interesting shapes in his subjects and translates these into pure visual language. The end results of this techniques, and his personal touch, leads to unique paintings full of atmosphere and character.

Kasper Zier has been a resident of Ireland since 2001.
