Vicki obtained a Higher Diploma in Fine Arts from Bray Institute of Further Education in 2011. She has exhibited with the Royal Hibernian Academy (2018, 2015), RDS National Craft Awards (2016, 2015, 2014), 'Decadence' and 'Shibui' at the NAG Gallery (2016, 2015), Sculpture in Context at the National Botanic Gardens, Dublin (2018, 2016, 2014) and Mill Cove Irish Ceramic Awards Exhibition (2016, 2015), Vicki is also a registered Craftsperson with the Design & Crafts Council of Ireland and the Design Directory Ireland.
Vicki works primarily in porcelain. She is interested in memory and forensic, identifying traces left behind in nature. Her current work is inspired by beachcombing years ago with her father, collecting fern fossils - plants encased in volcanic ash during the Jurassic era and gradually turned into stone.
